OVERVIEW

Welcome to Master’s Program in Medical Sciences! There are various laboratories in the fields of medicine, medical science, and life science, such as basic medicine, clinical medicine, medical physics, and bridging research.

CURRICULUM

We provide various subjects where you can study medical science (medicine / life science), medical physics, bridging / regulatory science.

EXAMINATION

There are August entrance exams and February entrance exams. We have the WEB open campus page.

RESEARCH

There are various laboratories in the fields of medicine and life science, such as basic medicine, clinical medicine, medical physics, and translational research, where cutting-edge research is carried out.

INTERNATIONAL

Through international academic exchanges, we aim to raise the level of academic research and develop human resources with an international perspective.

RESEARCH ACTIVITIES

A paper on the association of risk of relapse in ANCA-associated vasculitis with HLA by Dr. Aya Kawasaki, Dr. Premita Ari Kusumawati (Master's Program in Medical Sciences 2021 alumni) (Molecular and Genetic Epidemiology) and colleagues has been published in Frontiers in Immunology.

A paper on the mapping of a MHC region susceptibility variant for systemic lupus erythematosus by Dr. Aya Kawasaki, Dr. Premita Ari Kusumawati (Master's Program in Medical Sciences 2021 alumni) and Ms.Yuka Kawamura (College of Medical Sciences) (Molecular and Genetic Epidemiology) and colleagues has been published in RMD Open.

Niwa group (Developmental genetics) published a paper in Nature communications.

Emiko Noguchi group (Medical Genetics) published a paper in J. Hum. Genet.
